TCK Wing Sauce
These are not buffalo wings. This is not BBQ sauce. You’ve never had wings like these and they absolutely deserve a space on your game day table 🏈
TCK Wing Sauce
Ingredients
1/2 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
3 Tbsp Sriracha
2 tsp sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp garlic powder
6 Tbsp unsalted butter, chilled
1/2 cup sour cream
2 lbs chicken wings
1 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
Add all Frank’s, Sriracha, sugar, garlic, ketchup, worcestershire, and garlic powder to a small sauce pan. Heat on medium heat, stirring frequently, until thickened. I like to do this step out on the grill because this sauce is quite fragrant.
Remove from heat and whisk in cold butter 1 Tbsp at a time until fully combined.
Add the sauce and sour cream to a blender and blend until smooth. This can be stored in the fridge for 3-5 days.
Set your oven to 400 degrees and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Pat your wings dry with a paper towel and arrange on your baking sheet. Sprinkle the wings with salt, pepper, and 1 Tbsp of olive oil.
Roast the wings for 45 minutes
Using a pastry brush, cover the wings on both sides with a thick coat of sauce.
Return the wings to the oven for 8-10 minutes until the sauce is thicken and beginning to brown.
Garnish with Parmesan and chives and serve immediately.
